Boiling And Then Baking A Shoulder Ham

I would not buy this carpet ...

Hello my friends! After a more or less eventful week, I can sign me back.

First of all, apologies for the delay. You're not seeing that with the every day Post has put it does not sound all that great .... But that was to see, right? So here's the summary of my recent weekend activities ^ ^

most of my time here I've been cramming with Chinese and run ^ ^ I spent every day walk from the dorm to the other end of the campus. There, right on the back door of the campus, so to speak, is the Chinese-language center. Meanwhile, we are again 2 boys and 4 girls in our class. A girl had changed again, but now we have got a Korean woman. Half Korean .... You can probably imagine, where the mother is. Zaire's her name I think in Chinese, but I have not written the name seen'm not sure. She is a real doll. Speaks softly, his mouth twists into a constant cute, childish pout, running at slightly introspective legs and checked into the break, if her mascara is still sitting right .... I think I need this here no more imagine, is not it ^ ^

I'm still by far the worst in the class, now that we have to get another half a native speaker even more haha But you know me so, by something I will not be intimidated! That would be ridiculous! I notice already that I understand more and more. Even when I go to the meaning of some words in our lessons have my doubts ... We have just one lesson with extreme sports ... I'm not sure if I "bungee jumping" is necessarily to be so ^ ^

On Wednesday evening, Eunice and I were once again in the Cantonese restaurant, we have visited on my first day here. At present here the Ghost Festival is very timely: Everywhere you see people to build small shrines on the sidewalks and offer sacrifices there. Something like fruit or burn them to fire to fire and the dead money for their deceased. You can smell the smoke everywhere. In combination with the warm weather that can sometimes be quite unpleasant. I keep thinking that somewhere is burning a house or something similar haha But then I go around a corner and see a small shrine.

any event, the food was in the restaurant instead of in the context of this dead man party. We started at quarter to 10 at night. We were there too early, but there were already several people there: everything Apparently they were all students and friends from the neighborhood. And I was the only foreigner in the middle of it ^ ^ That was funny. And I can but still does not eat with chopsticks, let alone gotten meat from bones ... Here in Taiwan, chicken and the like shall not be separated from the bone and then processed. No, no! The legs and wings are simply chopped into manageable pieces so in all. WITH the bone inside. Especially fun is, of course, if you only stick to help ... I no longer even on reg. There is no day on which I am not besudle ^ ^

Eunice introduced me to more of their friends as they took pity on me and the meat from the bones separated ^ ^ Yeah ... Afterwards, then the boss has a long talk with us. So anything: 2 World War II, Jews, deportation, the local festival of the dead, etc. The first thing that connect the people here with Germany, actually seems to be Hitler. ... Somehow sad, right? I've also understood it much better than on Saturday (Erfolgserlebnis! Haha) Then there was such a shrewd friend of the boss ... The sold disinfectant sprays and breathing masks, and was with his English ... Give the rest you can imagine. ^ ^

On Friday I had to keep my speech in Chinese. I have told about Dresden. Everyone was very impressed with the architecture and landscape. However, containing no known Taiwanese, Americans, Canadians, Koreans and Indians Canaletto. Or Karl May Or know what the word "kennel" to begin. But other than that went quite well. I have not really talked much. We seem now to have to give a lecture each week. ... Oh man. And this week I had trouble finding a theme. Not to mention how long I've tortured the Chinese Wikipedia page ^ ^ But it can only help to practice, right?

After my talk, I was back in my favorite supermarket. Not that I would know this other mall except family and / Eleven, but oh well .... ^ ^ The funniest isses every time I do not know what it could be on the shelf in front of me. Or even better: I buy something and it turns out is as yet (only a little ...) other than I had taken the package ^ ^ So with my chocolate cream. I have deliberately not reached for the Nutella on the shelf, but I bought a local version. The is also delicious, but somehow I suspect that the chocolate with peanut butter is ... or something like that taste, so no matter. Just now I have I ever looked at the gym ... ^ ^

evening I got myself on the subway (MRT) and 5 stations on to Taipei Main Station down. According to the map should be there 2 large shopping centers that I could also see the same (as me so no one in sight ^ ^). However, I had to first find out from this giant station ... this has gone on for a while haha, where everything seems to run together: Bus, MRT, fast, etc. So of course gabs damn many directions .... But I made it then and then went into the first large shopping mall. Those things are great! They have absolutely everything! A bit like Karstadt - only bigger ^ ^ just go outside a plan, which I then could see already that I am in the 9th Stock wanted. To the household goods. So I thought elevator is so boring, I ride the escalator. 9 floors haha XD And on the way to eighth Photo 2 guys in front of me turned around and we talked a bissl. Taiwanese populists always to apply their English ^ It is really funny hihi turned out Two also Taida students as we changed numbers. One of the two is now only once a week to Japan. So until next week's will probably go with what time (and finally sing karaoke damn it! ^ ^)

And then it began. I'll probably forget my whole life net. You know, in Germany it all simply go shopping with and such. You go into a store looking for what you need, goes to the checkout to pay and then again with the product home. In Taiwan, this is something different ^ ^ It is on every floor, several young women, sometimes young men, all of which are responsible for a small area (usually a specific product brand or similar) and a smile all kind of bow, even partially and welcome one with "Huanying Guanglin" which means "welcome (We welcome their presence ^ ^) "means. And then they go to a jump. They want to sell so what, right. So the lady at the pad and carpet was in the 9th ^ ^ The stock was really persistent. You have to know that my room is tiled floor (do you spell that right?). And I have hardly any posters or other similar, so the echoes at times quite beautiful and pretty to look at is somehow different, right?

Well at least I looked out the corner of my eye this floor and stopped. My mistake. To make it short, I then bought a seat cushion and have again and again repeated that I was "this carpet please do not buy for 30 € like" ^ ^. Jap. Wonderful, right? Ne are not there's cash. You look to the seller of the goods together and gives her the money. She goes somewhere around the corner, gets the change, shall issue a receipt and ne done. No queuing. Because so many of the ladies there are ^ ^ Similarly, I'm still a thin blanket, a tea ball, NEN squeegee in the bathroom (as they're called, really?) And a Towel acquired. All in individual bags. Good. If I get the tea ball or a single bag, then I would be screaming hysterically running out. @ Josi: I can not begin to understand what you meant by ... packaging waste.

strengthened my faith alone to shopping in Chinese, I went next door to the second Mall @ Papa and Uwe: The laundry , which have been reserved for you! All full of art stuff. I have no idea when, but you had intended to spend a while in there. Good. I did too. But another reason ^ ^ I took the nice map at the entrance that play my search for an electronic dictionary on the ground floor and basement would. So far so good. But even here, all nicely separated by Company, except that the sellers were mostly male nice here. I then asked. And plenty was up, down, right, left, rear, front, around the corner and finally referred back to the main entrance. There I asked then actually bought a dictionary of Taiwanese company "Besta". Was not all that expensive. The only drawback is just that the device for Chinese-English is aligned. That means nothing because German. Or just very little. But I am now well on that deal. So it has me as possible on Saturday to wash my clothes with the right program. ^ ^ I can paint on the display because the characters and my little helper will speak to me, what does that mean.

After this successful experience, I wanted to eat something and then back home. In the malls, it is terribly cold. If I look like a get out, fog up my glasses ^ ^ It's very tiring in the long run. So I went back to the Main Station and have eaten nothing. Why? Because I have since discovered in the underground labyrinth a great store with CDs and DVDs ^ ^ Since I have of course been covering the same time haha Hey! This made They kiss again! The second season of my favorite series from Taiwan! And although reduced! With bookmarks (I know, I know ...).

Then I'm home but Selig ^ ^.

This funny sign is hanging on the inside of the toilet door in the Chinese center. Because I can not even stand upright. The main space is of course highly enough, but to the actual toilet bowl (or for mom: Hock-Klos ^ ^) is about two steps high. Not that I would be as offended by the cover, but then I watch my forehead on the door ....
right you see my favorite milk. On each of these type of plush cow is on it. Each in a different pose ^ ^

The Taipei 101 From my hallway. Yes, yes. ^ ^
