The Last of the Mohicans
Well ... 'The Last of the Mohicans' I've just read. In some places was ego almost passable, but the end was a little ... difficult to digest. Not to die Charaktäre had, that's in the literature is not much different than in real life, but the long-drawn description of the 'funeral' and the funeral
oO And the last words of Tamenund, the elders of the Delaware. A little torn out of context, very depressed, submissive, and somehow inappropriate for a proud Indian. In particular, I
Hawk-eye passed to the cookie. Besides the fact that he had to mention in any conversation at least once that he 'a man without a cross' is thus a 'pure' White is what he says but almost always the same group and they reported that nothing new to me and his bragging was totally on my nerves. May well be that the boy is a good shot, but what he represents is simply arrogant and how and all other derogatory. And his tactical objections are often somewhat cryptic, inconsistent ... trtozdem and his proposals are always accepted oO as if he had eaten the wisdom with spoons.
Just Heyward is quite passive, and Munro erst. .. When they go in search of the daughters, is simply the good sitzenb somewhere on that he brings back his girl? A father and a highly decorated and experienced Officer? oO
And of course, how easily groups come together and mutually vertaruen. Seriously, I have to convince travel with a purposely kept small group through the forest, there to meet three strangers who are personally known to me and take me where, my guide is good that nothing, so is downright hostile? Even if I am convinced that, what exactly convince me that the three strangers do the job better? Or
Uncas whom the second time is sentenced to death - I would have been so pissed off that way, one escapes from a camp where they do one to the leather, and the next the same story again - and you see the painting on his chest and suddenly mutated by the enemy, he becomes the leader of the one oO sometimes right on the same day following a war. WTF? You wanted him to kill and maim O.O
And overall, which is under the genre of 'Western' run? So please! Somewhere in the vicinity of the State of New York? In a fucking forest! So when my geographical knowledge not leave me completely, then the State of New York is located on the east coast. Pretty much all the east, ostiger WORKS so well any more. And in a way the genre is surely the West is not Easter. Consider the early at this stage of Europe and everything in America, the colonies, may in the west and everything that happens there will be a mess out in a Western? But the forest bothers me, too unbelievable. When I think of Western prairie, not in forests. Perhaps more in railways, and marginal to American Indians. As the professor said, Indians are not Charaktäre in a Western, but part of the setting.
